Installing Options

AD410 (Duplex Unit)

Important

❒ If you attach the Duplex Unit and

the Paper Feed Unit, the Paper

Feed Unit must be attached prior

to attaching the Duplex Unit.

❒ Check the printer nameplate to

confirm the model code.

Check the contents of the box for

the following items:

• Duplex Unit

• Installation Guide

Confirm that the followings are

true:

• The power switch is turned off.

Remove the adhesive tapes.

Open the rear cover by pushing

the two knobs as shown in the il-

lustration.

Remove the rear cover in the hor-

izontal direction.

Note

❒ The rear cover of the printer is

not used when attaching the

Duplex Unit.

While aligning the power cord to

the left side groove of the Duplex

Unit, slide the Duplex Unit in un-

til it is connected to the printer.
